The position emphasizes staff development, potential leadership of committees (quality, safety), and partnership with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated: Associate’s degree with 3–4+ years related experience and 0–1+ years supervisory, or HS diploma with 5+ years experience and 1–2+ years supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual performance goals are met (on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, product loss).
• Maintain safe working environment by executing company processes.
• Develop daily operating plan including equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet customer needs and resolve problems.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff and potentially lead committees like quality and safety.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure staffing levels to maximize employee involvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience
