Job summary

The role requires 1–3 years of experience with 2,000 field hours, a valid driver's license, and ATSSA TCT intermediate training. Travel statewide, nights and weekends may be required, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience with 2,000 field hours.
• Background check including motor vehicle records.
• Drug screening and DOT requirements must be met.
• Wear safety equipment: boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest.
• Reading/writing ability for road signs and paperwork.
• Ability to read plans and implement traffic control plans.
• Know state/local roadways; operate delivery vehicles if needed.
• Lift up to 70 pounds.
• Complete ATSSA TCT intermediate training.
• Willing to travel statewide with possible overnight stays.
• Able to work nights and weekends; rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on highways and roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers and survey crews.
• Assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites.
• Operate company trucks and MOT/TMA vehicles as needed.
• Install signs, cones, boards, and safety devices.
• Maintain safety and compliance per company policies.
