Job summary
Commercial Transport in Beech Grove, IN is seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer/Diesel Mechanic for the night shift. You will perform PM on tractors and trailers, diagnose electrical and HVAC systems, and troubleshoot onboard diagnostics to keep a fleet of late-model Freightliner/Kenworth trucks on the road.
The role requires 2+ years in tractor/trailer repair and a valid driver's license. Competitive hourly pay starting at $23+ with benefits and opportunities for overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of tractor/trailer repair experience.
- Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience.
- Must provide own tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct computer diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and repair ABS systems.
- Service brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components.
- Mount and dismount tires.
- Perform general maintenance and repair on Class A tractors and trailers.
- Assist with engine diagnostics and repairs as needed.
