Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Conroe, TX is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to service tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will diagnose, repair, and document maintenance in the ERP system, using diagnostic tools and following safety standards. CDL is highly desirable; dream with growth in a large private fleet.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally, with travel possible and a Wednesday-Saturday night shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR under DOT regulations.
• CDL (Class A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
• Document work orders and preventative maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
