Job summary

Crete Carrier Corporation in Minnesota seeks a skilled diesel mechanic for full-time night shift, 11pm–9:30am. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering, transmissions, drive trains, tires, and refrigeration equipment on tractors and trailers.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, battery tests, lights, lubrications, and maintaining safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance preferred.
• ASE and DOT inspections certifications as required by supervisor.
• EPA 609 and EPA 608 certifications as required by supervisor.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, transmissions, drive trains, and tires for tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance services, including changing oil, checking fluids, inspecting batteries, testing lights, and lubricating equipment.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
