Job summary

Commercial Transport is seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer / Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the night shift in Beech Grove, IN. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical and air conditioning systems, and service class A tractors and trailers to keep our fleet safe and reliable.

We offer competitive pay starting at $23 per hour with overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of tractor and/or trailer repair experience.
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience; must provide own tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
Diagnose and repair electrical and air conditioning systems.
Run computer diagnostics and troubleshoot issues.
Repair ABS systems, brakes, suspension and related components.
Mount and dismount tires and perform general maintenance.
