Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing in Kearney, NE is hiring a Full-Time Night Shift Fleet Mechanic to keep trucks and trailers on the road for early morning routes.

You will perform routine servicing, brake work, and repairs, diagnose issues using manuals and diagrams, and test drive equipment as needed. CDL preferred, valid license, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required. Join a growing team with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engines.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to use manuals and diagrams
• Must possess necessary tools

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintenance of fleet vehicles, ensuring safety and performance requirements.
• Servicing fleet vehicles per required schedules
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing repairs
• Performing roadside repairs and adjustments
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area and equipment
