Job summary

International’s San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is seeking a Tool Technician - Night Shift to oversee setup, calibration, maintenance, and repair of production tooling to ensure smooth operations at night.

You will follow SWIs, mentor teammates, uphold safety standards, manage tooling inventories, and collaborate with engineering on new solutions. Requires 2+ years in a tool tech role and a high school diploma or technical degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tool technician, maintenance or related role in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production tooling and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency with tooling software and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows work instructions, position standards and standard operating procedures.
• Coaches team on safety, 5S, and core values; maintains high quality standard work.
• Drives safe work behavior and uses proper PPE; identifies and escalates hazards.
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
• Manages spare parts inventory to prevent production delays; supports tooling as needed.
• Collaborates with engineering on new solutions and tooling upgrades.
• Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards.
