Job summary

Health Connect America is seeking a Therapeutic Behavioral Aide to provide direct care within our programs, focused on developing daily living and community skills for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. You will deliver individualized support, reinforce positive behaviors, and collaborate with families and treatment teams.

A high school diploma is required, with preferred experience in human services and with children; a valid driver’s license is needed for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is the required minimum qualification for this position.
• Experience in human services is highly preferred for applicants considering this role.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Must have driver’s license, car registration, and vehicle insurance, if providing transportation for individuals receiving services. Driving record must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one direct behavioral intervention with children/youth or support and training with individuals.
• Assists group leader in daily group activities.
• Uses cognitive behavioral approaches to support individuals.
• Maintains client safety and confidentiality during service delivery.
• Keeps accurate progress notes and required documentation.
