Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Associate Test Engineer for the 2nd shift in Milpitas, CA to build and test cameras and electronic assemblies for semiconductor equipment. Strong schematic literacy and PCB testing are needed.

The candidate should hold a BSEE (Master's acceptable), work nights starting at 3:30 PM, and handle small components with care. On-site role with possible overtime and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Education: a BSEE is required; a Master's degree is acceptable.
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics.
• Familiarity with multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Build and test cameras and PC assemblies in a production environment.
• Test PCBs from suppliers, including voltage and functional testing.
• Apply FPGA programming and light electronic assembly.
• Troubleshoot diagnostic issues and isolate failed components on circuit boards.
• Collaborate with engineers to bring new products into manufacturing.
• Update and maintain documentation for repeatable processes.
• Follow safety policies including lifting up to 25 lbs and two-person lifts for items over 40 lbs.
