Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc is seeking an Associate Test Engineer for an 18+ month assignment in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on build, optical alignment, calibration, and test of electromechanical and optical assemblies, with responsibilities spanning system-level testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and repair, and be comfortable in a clean room environment. LabVIEW and Linux familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of optomechanical assemblies at the system level.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical assemblies at system level and perform rework as needed.
• Work with blueprints, drawings and diagrams to determine methods and procedures.
