Job summary

Maxonic is seeking an Electro-mechanical Assembly Test Technician for 1st & 2nd shifts in Milpitas, CA. This contract role focuses on testing optical/electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring, calibration and system integration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and wafer/reticle handlers, with occasional training of peers. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in systems electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment is required.
• Experience in system development and testing, including requirements, specs and test results.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot mechanical assemblies at system level.
• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot wafer or Reticle handlers.
• Develop methods from blueprints and diagrams; test and troubleshoot final systems.
• Prepare technical reports of findings and recommend solutions; assist in equipment setup.
