Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to build and test large semiconductor systems onsite in Milpitas, CA. The role requires hands-on mechanical/electromechanical work, reading blueprints, and performing troubleshooting across the full build cycle.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience; formal education is prioritized second to practical ability. Significant overtime is expected, with weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience prioritized over formal education.
• High School Diploma with relevant experience required.
• Technical Certificate, AS degree, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble large semiconductor tools.
• Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly and system cabling.
• Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and integrate mechanical assemblies and wafer handlers.
• Oversee full build cycle from assembly to final testing.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to determine methods.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
• Work with minimal instruction on daily tasks.
