Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (7p-7a) in a PRN role at the Overlook facility. The nurse assesses, plans, directs, and evaluates patient care with a focus on safety, privacy, and infection control.

Telemetry/ICU experience is preferred, with opportunities to participate in various procedures and care coordination. The role requires a nursing license, English fluency, and BLS/ACLS certification; PALS preferred and ENPC can substitute for PALS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC can substitute).
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
