Baptist Neighborhood Hospital seeks an experienced ER nurse for the night shift (7p-7a) on a PRN basis at the Overlook facility. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room. Requires current RN license and active certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Candidates should have 2+ years of ER nursing experience and be fluent in English. Expect detailed charting, adherence to policies, and collaboration with the physician team for optimal patient

Formación

• Associate’s Degree, required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• PA: Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required before start date.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation on medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in nursing care.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for procedures in the ER and assist others.
• Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
