Job summary

Coyote Tanks Inc. is seeking an Assistant Night Shift Production Manager to support the Night Shift Production Manager in leading tank production during the night shift.

You will help direct night crews, execute pull plans, and ensure accurate ERP updates and handoffs with the day shift. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with a path toward a full production management position in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production/manufacturing/fabrication experience, including lead/supervisor roles.
• Experience in steel fabrication, tank, or heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job packets.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP and production scheduling systems.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving; able to work with minimal supervision on night shift.
• Willing to work night shift hours and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead night shift production crews and support the Night Shift Production Manager.
• Coordinate handoffs and communication with day shift, purchasing, quality, shipping, and management.
• Enter and verify job information in the ERP system; track status and labor entries.
• Support safety, 5-S housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts.
