Job summary

Path Robotics is hiring a Production Lead to oversee daily production activities, coordinate operators, and ensure safe, high-quality operations. You will work hands-on with automated robotic welding systems and coordinate production schedules, monitor performance, and mentor operators while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, leadership experience, and familiarity with robotic equipment. Evening shift 5pm–1am on-site at our Columbus facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, fabrication, or welding experience.
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring production operators or teams.
• Familiarity with automated or robotic manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, quality standards, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and coordinate operator assignments to meet goals.
• Operate automated robotic welding cells and assist in maintaining efficiency.
• Support CNC machines, Q-Eye inspection systems, and other processes as needed.
• Monitor output, equipment performance, and quality metrics; troubleshoot issues.
• Train operators on equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper setup, loading, and unloading of parts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain production records and shift handoff communications.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Promote a safe, clean, organized work environment and adherence to procedures.
