Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory production engineering team. You will troubleshoot interruptions on the production floor alongside expert optical technicians and implement short-term containment plans.

The role requires reading mechanical, electrical, and optical drawings, performing root-cause analysis, and generating detailed reports after machine failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical engineering discipline with internship
• Physic or Material Science considered
• 0-1 year of work experience in high-tech manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical/optical drawings
• Cleanroom experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and document interruptions on the production floor with optical technicians
• Develop short-term containment and structural solutions for production issues
• Escalate issues to the Production Engineering team and advise on solutions
• Handle cleaning solvents safely per EHS guidelines
• Evaluate and disposition failed parts and determine rework path
• Read and interpret optical drawings and specifications
