Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, Connecticut is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer to support manufacturing by troubleshooting, improving production performance, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with technicians and engineers in a cleanroom, develop root-cause analyses and process improvements, and contribute to manufacturing procedures, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience, or a master's degree in engineering.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or engineering operations in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, alignment processes, tooling, and test equipment.
• Experience using Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and optical drawings.
• FMEA or SPC experience is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, or Siemens NX is preferred.
• Knowledge of optical, electro-mechanical, or sensor-based systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing teams to resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and cross-functional partners to improve quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly, bonding, thermal, flow, testing, and qualification issues.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, root cause analyses, and improvement plans.
• Review drawings and specs to resolve manufacturing concerns.
• Support procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve cycle time and production performance.
