Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT seeks a First Line Support Production Engineer to support production engineering in the cleanroom. You will rapidly resolve disturbances, analyze data and assist in optical metrology, alignment, and tooling troubleshooting to keep output on track.

The role requires reading optical, mechanical and electrical drawings, Matlab/Python scripting, and experience with Code-V/Zemax. Weekend coverage may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with optical metrology setups: interferometers, Shack–Hartmann, polarimetry/ellipsometry, and optical alignment.
• Knowledge of geometric optics, wave optics, Gaussian propagation, and aberration theory.
• Experience in image/signal/data processing, statistics and software development.
• Lean Manufacturing experience in a high-tech production environment.

Responsibilities

• Spends ~75% of time in the Cleanroom providing direct support to production processes and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot optical alignment and metrology issues.
• Troubleshoot module test and final qualification issues.
• Support diagnostics qualification and implementation for production staff.
• Develop troubleshooting guidelines and manufacturing procedures.
