Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist circulating nurse with patient positioning and site prep.
• Establish and maintain an organized sterile field.
• Provide scrub assistance during procedures with knowledge of anatomy and supplies.
• Apply asepsis principles; verify sterility and report any breaks in technique.
• Prepare the OR by opening sterile supplies and equipment per surgeon's preference card.
• Follow scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and back table setup procedures.
