Job summary

Beacon Health System in South Bend, IN is hiring a part-time night shift Certified Surgical Technologist for our Childbirth Unit at Memorial Hospital. You will scrub, set up instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team through procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates have completed a Surgical Technology program and maintain current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• Current BLS certification maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care of patients undergoing surgical procedures as primary scrub.
• Prepare and handle instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeon and team.
• Open and prepare operating rooms and ensure turnover between cases.
• Protect patient privacy and safety.
