Job summary

Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Supervisory role within Support Services to coordinate daily tasks and improve service quality. You will oversee staff, assign priorities, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards are met in a hospital environment.

The position requires at least two years in support services and strong leadership and communication skills to work with ARAMARK and CCMC teams while maintaining a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• Education: High School required.
• Two years of experience in support service functions (healthcare, hospitality, janitorial or maintenance).
• Lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assign and prioritize tasks, duties and work requests for Support Services staff.
• Monitor performance and coach staff; document issues and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and ensure safety, quality and compliance with CCMC/NFPA, OSHA and related standards.
• Issue supplies/equipment daily and inspect for safety and quality.
