Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Natchaug Hospital in Connecticut seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Journey House program on the 11:00pm-7:30am shift. You will oversee resident activities, ensure safety, and coordinate staff on a unified team.

You will administer medications under RN oversight, develop opportunities for process improvement, and participate in hiring, training and disciplinary actions with the manager. Requires supervision experience and CT driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years in behavioral health required, five years preferred.
• Associates degree in Human Services required or experience in lieu of education.
• At least two years supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience with adolescents preferred.
• DCF Medication Administration Certification required.
• CT driver's license with good driving record.
• Must be able to cover shifts and maintain scheduling contact.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Journey House activities, daily living, and shift programming.
• Administer medication to residents under RN oversight.
• Identify and propose process improvement ideas.
• Assist in hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for assigned staff.
