Job summary

Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the night shift to provide comprehensive nursing care within a substance use disorder treatment setting. The RN will assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs, develop care plans, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and at least one year of nursing experience; CPR and de-escalation certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about health conditions.
• Ensure nursing orders are legible and transcribed accurately as per policy.
• Assess patient status continuously and document pertinent information.
