Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Wilmington Treatment Center in Wilmington, NC, is hiring a part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m., 2–12 hour shifts with every other weekend) to support our nursing team.

You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and maintain medical records while communicating with physicians and patients in a compassionate, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license and be eligible to practice in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Administer medications and document controlled substances accurately.
• Ensure ongoing patient status assessment and physician notification as needed.
