Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Cortez, CO is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop teams, drive sales, and manage store operations end-to-end. You will guide associates, implement business solutions, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes budget understanding, inventory flow, and merchandising, while promoting a culture of belonging and integrity across the store. A strong track record in supervision and operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drive store performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses to meet sales goals.
• Ensure customer service standards and resolve customer needs and issues to provide a high quality experience.
