Banner Estrella Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift to support PeriOp Services. You will decontaminate, assemble, and package surgical instruments, maintain sterility logs, and ensure readiness of equipment for procedures.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Program.
• National SPD certification within 1 year of hire preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and packaging of surgical instruments.
• Maintain sterilization logs and quality assurance records.
• Interpret surgical schedules and prioritize instrumentation needs.
• Track instrumentation and communicate replacements or repairs as needed.
• Operate sterilizers, instrument washers, and related equipment per policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control practices.
• Rotate shifts and adhere to attendance and PPE protocols.
• Support OR and hospital departments with sterile processing needs.
