Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join the SPD team on the night shift. You will ensure decontamination, assembly, packaging and sterilization of surgical instruments, supporting PeriOp Services and hospital departments.

The ideal candidate has completed a Sterile Processing Program and can work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining sterilization logs and ready instrumentation for procedures.

Qualifications

• Completed Sterile Processing Program.
• Experience with decontamination and instrument assembly beneficial.
• Ability to maintain sterilization logs and inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Provide decontamination and sterile processing support for PeriOp Services and hospital departments.
• Decontaminate, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments; perform QA and documentation.
