Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations/Warehouse Associate for its New York facility. The role involves stocking received merchandise in designated locations, operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, and performing related duties as required.

The position requires the ability to operate a forklift, unload and load pallets, and transfer items within the warehouse, with availability to work nights and lift heavy loads as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months related warehouse experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work nights and lift up to 50–80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklift and control movement of pallets and shelving.
• Unload and load pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Store and remove pallets from rack locations and place products into packing locations.
• Maintain a clean work environment and remove trash as required.
• Transfer leftover items to Home slot at end of shift.
• Perform duties of order selector as needed.
