Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Harahan, LA is seeking an Operations Associate to stock received merchandise, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure accurate placement in storage locations. This role supports efficient warehouse flow and order fulfillment.

You will unload/load pallets, maintain a clean work environment, assist order selectors as needed, and work nights. Physical duties include lifting up to 80 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related warehouse experience.
• 6 months warehouse distribution experience required.
• Able to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift in cooler, freezer and dry spaces.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stores pallets at rack locations.
• Puts product in overflow locations.
• Hand stacks product onto/off of pallets and into packing locations.
• Maintains a clean work environment by sweeping, ice removal, scrubbing, and trash removal.
• Transfers leftover items to the Home slot at shift end.
• Cleans up aisles and pallets at shift end.
• Performs duties of order selector as needed.
