Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations position in Alabama to stock received merchandise and operate warehouse equipment. The role includes maintaining equipment and performing related duties as required.

Responsibilities include unloading/loading pallets with pallet jacks and forklifts, storing pallets, keeping the workspace clean, and assisting as an order selector when needed. Candidates should be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of warehouse experience, with night shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related warehouse experience
• 6 months of warehouse distribution experience
• Ability to work nights

Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklift in cooler, freezer, and dry spaces.
• Unload/load pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Store and remove pallets from rack locations.
• Place product in overflow locations.
• Hand stack product onto/off pallets and packing locations.
• Maintain a clean work environment (sweeping, ice removal, cleaning).
• Transfer leftover items to Home slot at shift end.
• Clean aisles and pick up leftover pallets after shift.
• Perform duties of order selector as needed.
