Job summary

OhioHealth's Stroke Unit 1 is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the health-illness continuum, collaborating with the health care team. Night shift, 36 hours per week, and a focus on safety, quality and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in Ohio (Ohio Board of Nursing).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to nursing interventions and revises care plans.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement for quality, safety and patient care.
• Operations - Performs day-to-day nursing operations and collaborates with the health care team.
