Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain department quality, productivity, and reliability.
• Must pass departmental competency exam with 90% or higher after training.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Enter patient demographics and process orders.
• Handle and label specimens and paperwork accurately.
• Proficient in LIS and ITD/test information catalogs as related to accessioning.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
