Job summary

Foxhole Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Night Shift SOC Analyst for an alternating Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7 PM–7 AM schedule.

You will monitor cybersecurity events, investigate EOIs, escalate incidents, and generate incident reports within established procedures. The role requires 3+ years in cybersecurity/SOC, a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong communication, and an Active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network security, a SOC, or a related IT security environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Experience with security monitoring, event analysis, incident handling, or related SOC functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events using SOC tools.
• Identify, investigate, and appropriately handle Events of Interest (EOIs).
• Escalate cybersecurity events and incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Generate incident response documentation and reports.
• Process incident-related communications, including initial notifications, follow-ups, requests for information, status updates, and resolution activities.
• Document and track cybersecurity incidents through resolution.
• Follow established security operations, incident response, and reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity personnel to support timely resolution of security events.
