JCS Solutions LLC (JCS) has an immediate opening for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst in the SOC, requiring an active DoD security clearance and TS/SCI eligibility. This night shift role (10pm-6am) supports incident response and reporting for a premier IT and cyber security service provider with a broad benefits package.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, log analysis, and collaboration with senior personnel.

Qualifications

• Active DoDTS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of experience.
• 3+ years incident handling/response experience.
• Experience in a SOC environment is required.
• Knowledge of CND lifecycle and TTPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use alerts from endpoints and IDS/IPS to identify compromises.
• Review large log files and correlate evidence for investigations.
• Pass triaged alerts to senior SOC personnel and assist in identifying malicious actors.
• Document analyses, findings, and actions in case management systems.
• Support incident reports to customers and higher headquarters.
