Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time, PRN Sleep Lab technologist to perform and coordinate overnight physiologic sleep studies. The role includes scoring per AASM guidelines, supervising PSG staff, and educating/mentoring PSG Techs and CPSGTs.

The position requires RPSGT/RST or CRT license where required, working night shifts, and availability for variable schedules at Layton and McKay-Dee hospitals in Utah.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Current RPSGT/RST or CRT license may be required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies using various PAP modalities.
• Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
• Monitor and document patients undergoing physiologic studies.
• Monitor and track equipment and supplies.
• Complete record keeping and charting.
• Address technical and interpersonal problems; demonstrate communication skills.
