Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Steele, AL is seeking a Shot Blaster for the Paint Department on the third shift (8-hour shift, Sunday night through Friday morning). Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with sandblasting, shot blasting, or auto painting is preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to read, write and calculate.
• Ability to train and apply training in the paint department.

Responsibilities

• Operate shot blast equipment and read product blueprints.
• Maintain equipment safely and ensure high quality visuals.
• Complete paperwork and log books as required.
• Assist in masking, taping and crane operation as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE at all times.
