Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Paint Associate Level 1 for the Valley, NE facility. This role prepares products for painting, ensures high-quality finishes, and packages items for shipment on a third shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Prior painting/manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and precision. The position requires lifting 20–40 lbs regularly, operating painting and packaging equipment, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year painting/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklift.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and perform math calculations.
• Willingness to work third shift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Valmont products for painting and ensure quality finishes.
• Package finished poles and arms for shipment.
• Hang/unhang parts (poles, bases, components) as needed.
• Operate blasting, painting, rigging, and packaging equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the painting area.
