Job summary

Kennametal Stellite Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Chemical Process Operator III for a 12-hour night shift in Orwell, OH. You will load/unload furnaces, monitor temperatures and gas flows, document results and ensure safety procedures are followed.

The role requires ability to read procedures, operate control systems, perform basic maintenance, and work on a team with strong communication. Hazmat training and willingness to join a plant emergency response team are preferred.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow operating procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read and interpret temperature, pressure and flow data.
• Capable of basic math and data entry for quality records.
• Hazmat awareness and willingness to wear protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furnaces and monitor controls and process parameters.
• Enter quality data and monitor results; document furnace performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting furnace issues.
• Act as Emergency Responder within the Coating Department when needed.
