Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for the Sterling, VA area. The role oversees a team and coordinates service delivery on the night shift, acting as a liaison between site leadership and security officers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Assemble 18+ years old.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; use initiative and independent judgment.
• Must prepare written reports/logs neatly.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test post‑offer/pre‑employment.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both routine and crisis situations calmly.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly.
• Physical ability to work in varied environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, and stand/walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
