Job summary

Door County Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer for the Safety & Security team in Sturgeon Bay, WI. This casual call position covers night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on-site at the DCMC campus.

Responsibilities include patrols, visitor support, emergency coordination, and first-response duties in a healthcare setting. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in security or healthcare safety, and IAHSS Basic Training to be completed in the first year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related security experience, healthcare experience, or related public service/safety experience.
• IAHSS Basic Training Course Certificate required – to be accomplished in first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and security of the DCMC campus while on duty.
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with access and concerns.
• Patrol facility and grounds and respond to emergencies or codes.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed and deter crime.
