Job summary

Advocate Health's Public Safety team in Milwaukee is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect patients, visitors, and teammates, delivering professional, compassionate service and enforcing safety policies.

This role requires a CHSO within 2 years, a Wisconsin driver’s license, and the ability to respond to emergencies with de-escalation and crowd-management skills. Overnight and weekend shifts are part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of security/public safety or customer-service experience.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide security with a customer-service approach, upholding professionalism and safety policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; enforce safety rules and safe conduct.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify hazards, and assist patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, de-escalate conflicts, and coordinate with law enforcement when required.
• Assist with traffic control, crowd management, and parking support as needed.
