Candidates should have 3+ years of security experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general security.
• Read, write and understand reports and policies clearly.
• Able to listen, communicate clearly and follow directions.
• Safely operate vehicles, equipment and hospital systems.
• Computer literacy with basic hospital/security applications.
• Strong critical thinking and quick prioritization.
• Able to work under crisis and stress, calmly.
• Face recognition and ability to protect confidentiality.
• Team player with the medical/nursing staff collaboration.
• Identify recurring security issues and propose solutions.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Basic Windows and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and ensure life safety standards.
• Investigate suspicious activity and report hazards.
• Respond to emergency, non-emergency and alarm calls.
• Administer initial first aid as trained.
• Learn systems and respond to fire alarms during drills.
• De-escalate disputes and diffuse potentially violent situations.
• Unlock buildings after verifying ID and policies.
• Monitor traffic and interview individuals involved in suspicious activity.
• Investigate and document safety hazards and incidents in writing and electronically.
• Report incidents to appropriate entities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
