AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL seeks a dedicated security officer to protect patients, staff, and facilities. You will patrol assigned areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols across hospital properties.

The role requires strong communication, de‑escalation, and teamwork with medical staff. A valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and security experience are essential; CPR/BLS and supervisory skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in security or related field.
• 3+ years general security experience is required.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Patrol areas to enforce life safety standards and hospital policies.
• Investigate suspicious activity and report hazards or incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms; provide first aid within training levels.
• Monitor traffic, control access, and document incidents accurately.
• De-escalate conflicts and coordinate with medical staff as needed.
• Complete written and electronic reports for security events.
