Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated security professional to provide security services across the hospital campus. The role includes escorting, patrolling 24/7, and responding to incidents, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

The position requires a Florida driver’s license and the ability to obtain state and professional certifications within 120 days of hire. Schedule is dayshift (3x12s) and on-site work at the Orlando Health campus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and insurability.
• Must obtain Florida Class “D” Security Officer License within 120 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 120 days of hire.
• Must obtain Basic Security Officer Certification or higher through IAHASS within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort visitors, employees, and students on request.
• Patrol hospital premises 24/7 by foot, bicycle, or vehicle.
• Respond to threats, disturbances, and emergencies as needed.
• Document events and incidents via reports for liability mitigation.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and Patient Care Coordinator when applicable.
• Support safety and security operations across the campus.
