Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Part-Time Night Custodian to join our facilities team. You will keep facilities clean, safe, and well maintained across assigned areas, including classrooms, offices, cafeterias, restrooms, and exterior spaces.

The role involves cleaning duties, trash removal, and adherence to safety procedures. Training is provided, and you will report to the supervisor with opportunities to contribute to preventative maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities-related fields.
• Experience: minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
• Special qualifications: must possess the listed knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multipurpose rooms.
• Clean exterior areas: building perimeter, parking lot, windows, playground.
• Remove trash from all receptacles and sanitize restrooms.
• Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables and keeping floors clean.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and school policies.
• Report to supervisor and participate in training programs.
