Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to maintain clean, safe school facilities. You will manage interior and exterior cleaning, restrooms, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas, ensuring a healthy learning environment.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of janitorial experience. You will follow safety procedures, report to the Facilities leadership, and participate in ongoing training to support school operations.

Qualifications

• Education -- minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities related.
• Experience -- minimum of 1 year janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications -- knowledge and abilities in skills and knowledge described.
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior halls, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room.
• Exterior cleaning: perimeter, parking lot, playground, windows as assigned.
• Empty trash from all receptacles.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents and related areas.
• Clean and sterilize restroom facilities.
• Assist Head Custodian with cleaning projects and maintenance planning.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Stay on school property during work hours; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Report to supervisor and participate in training programs.
