Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a part-time night custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe and well maintained. You will be responsible for interior and exterior cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria areas and waste removal in a fast-paced educational environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of janitorial experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to follow safety procedures and school policies. This role may involve travel to nearby sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education — minimum high school graduate with continuing education in construction or facilities.
• Experience — a minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications — must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including interior spaces and exterior perimeter as directed.
• Empty trash from all receptacles.
• Clean and sterilize restroom facilities; assist with cafeteria cleanup.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents and other surfaces.
• Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouse/storage.
