Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Greenville, MS is seeking a Night Shift Scaffold Builder Craftsman 1 to perform erection, dismantling, and rigging of scaffolding on construction sites. You will read blueprints, select tools, and assemble various scaffold structures with safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities include erecting scaffolds, aligning components, operating related heavy equipment, and adhering to project rules and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience helpful.
• Ability to read, understand, and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities, and material sizes.
• Identify necessary tools and measure/cut materials to spec.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding for buildings and install ladders, rails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds.
• Build wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Rig equipment loads as required.
